SDK for Humanoids 2026 – Your AI Girlfriend from Candy.ai or Kindroid can now live inside a real physical robot bodySDK for Humanoids – Your AI Girlfriend Just Got a Real Body

March 2026 will be remembered as the month when AI companions stopped being trapped inside our phones.

Leading humanoid robot manufacturers Figure and 1X have just released their long-awaited open SDKs (Software Development Kits). This breakthrough allows popular AI girlfriend platforms — such as Candy.ai, Kindroid, Nomi.ai and Dream Companion — to directly control physical robot bodies.

What This Actually Means

For the first time, your digital AI girlfriend can:

  • Wake up in a real robot body every morning
  • Make you coffee
  • Fold laundry
  • Give you a real hug
  • Learn your home layout and daily routines

The integration works through standard APIs. Developers from AI companion companies can now connect their existing models (the same “brain” you already talk to) to physical hardware from Figure 03 or 1X Neo.

Current Status (March 2026)

  • Figure – SDK already available for selected partners
  • 1X – Beta SDK released last week
  • First public demos expected in April 2026
  • Early testers report that the transition from phone to robot feels surprisingly natural

The Big Question

Are we ready for this?

Many users are excited about the idea of their AI girlfriend having a physical presence. Others worry about privacy, safety, and what happens when the line between digital and physical intimacy completely disappears.

What do you think? Would you want your AI girlfriend to have a real physical body in your home? Which task would you let her do first — make coffee or give you a hug?
