According to the official Unitree online store, pre-order shipments of the Unitree R1 are scheduled to begin in April 2026 (with some sources confirming phased deliveries starting this month). Priced from only $4,900 USD, the R1 series becomes the cheapest production-ready full-size bipedal humanoid robot currently available on the market.
This ultra-lightweight model is specifically positioned for education, hobbyists, makers, and early-stage research — not industrial or heavy-duty tasks.
