The company released a stunning new demo: Helix 02 Living Room Tidy – the first time a humanoid robot has autonomously cleaned an entire messy living room with zero human supervision.
What Helix 02 Actually Did
This isn’t a short 30-second trick. The robot performed continuous, end-to-end cleaning across the whole room while walking, manipulating objects with both hands, and using tools.
Key tasks shown in one seamless video:
- Picking up and sorting toys, pillows, clothes and trash
- Using a spray bottle + cloth to wipe surfaces

Why This Demo Is a Big Deal
Just one month earlier Helix 02 cleaned a kitchen. Now it’s handling a much more chaotic living room – long-horizon tasks that combine walking, tool use, two-handed manipulation and decision-making in one flow.
This is the exact capability needed for real home robots in 2026–2027.
What’s Next?
Figure is already planning to put robots into beta testers’ homes later this year. The goal: robots that can handle everyday chores while you’re at work or sleeping.
Other companies (1X, Agility, Tesla Optimus) are racing too – but right now Figure Helix 02 leads in full-body autonomy.
